Things have been busy at Bairnecessities HQ!

In preparation for our renovations, our volunteers have been working hard to remove all the old fixtures and fittings. A huge thanks also goes out to Mintlaw Men’s Shed who came and made a massive dent in removing some of the old walls back to brick.

Go check out out Facebook page- Here’s Helen giving a tour of the progress we’ve made so far!

Happy March everyone!

The sun is out and it finally feels like Spring is around the corner! Since Spring is a time for new beginnings and shaking off the winter blues- perhaps you are looking for a new experience or to get more involved in the local community?

Why not come and volunteer with us! We have some new volunteer positions we are looking to fill which you can check out on our Volunteer page here

If you are interested in any of these positions, or would like to know more about volunteering with us, please contact us on volunteers@bairnecessities.co.uk

It’s official- we finally have the keys to our new building!

After a lot of hard work, our volunteer board have completed the transfer of our new building from Aberdeenshire Council. We have big plans for our new HQ in Maud and before we can move in we have a lot of renovation work to do.

Helen has filmed a little ‘before’ video of how everything is looking at the moment, and talks about what we plan to do to, so if you missed that you can check it out here

There is lots to do and we plan on taking you on this journey with us so, watch this space!
